Perth County ̶ The Perth District Health Unit recently received a $1,000 donation from the Perth County Dairy Producers Committee, which represents the 360 dairy producers in Perth County. The donation will help continue to provide nutrition support to local families.
The money is used to purchase milk coupons for pregnant women and young families. It enables families to purchase bagged milk to support healthy nutrition.
“Receiving continued funding from the Perth County Dairy Producers enables the Health Unit to maintain this vital program and ease the financial challenges for families,” says Heather Kane, Public Health Nurse. “This donation will provide Perth County families greater access to nutritious food and will help support healthy growth and development in children.”

Nathan Siebenga, Chair of the Perth County Dairy Producers Committee, presents the $1,000 donation to Heather Kane, Public Health Nurse.
