Listowel ―The Perth District Health Unit is looking for a dog involved in a biting incident in Listowel to complete an investigation. The incident took place in the morning on Wednesday, August 3 by the Listowel Memorial Hospital on the corner of Elizabeth St. and Davidson Ave.
The dog was leashed with 2 people standing with it. The dog is described as a medium/large-sized brown dog.
The Health Unit is investigating this incident to check if the dog has up-to-date rabies shots. If the dog is not found, the person who was bitten may need to complete a series of rabies shots.
The Perth District Health Unit reminds people to always obtain the contact information of the owners of the animals involved in a biting incident.
